Are you interested in providing programs in The Mix? Whether you are part of an organization or an individual with an expertise that you would like to share, attending this event is the first step. During the event, you will learn about the philosophy of our space, the resources we can provide, and our guidelines for providing programming at The Mix.

You must sign up via Eventbrite as this event is held while The Mix at SFPL is closed and only those who are signed up will be able to attend.

Please note: attending this event is simply an introduction to our services and resources, and all programming proposals will be reviewed for approval prior to scheduling.

The Mix at SFPL is an innovative, youth-designed, 21st century teen learning space that will provide 4,770-square feet of space and equipment for youth ages 13-18 to explore, create and develop digital media and computer skills as well as discover and engage with the Library's traditional books and materials. Outfitted with state-of-the-art digital media, video/sound recording, computer and creative maker equipment, teens will be able to expand their imaginations as well as their technology and literacy skills and engage in individual and team projects that promote critical thinking, inventiveness and skill building.
