Mr. Angerame will show and discuss silent movies made in Hollywood in the 1920s with a special focus on Erich Von Stroheim. Classic of the silent era the movie Greed, filmed on Polk Street and in Oakland, California, was supposed to be Stroheim's masterpiece. It was supposed to run five hours with a dinner break. However the studio shortened the film with merciless cuts. Mr. Angerame will intersperse his talk with the still photos along with the movie.
