San Francisco Public Library welcomes youth volunteers who are 13-17 years old.

Become a member of The Mix CORE Program! The Mix is a free space and digital media lab for teens at San Francisco Public Library's Main Branch where you can connect, explore, learn and hang out. This is a stipended program where you will work together, learn about libraries, and share The Mix experience with teens around the Bay Area. Be involved in making The Mix a special place for teens. Teens 13-18 years old are encouraged to apply.

Help library patrons with their basic computer skills
Available Locations: Chinatown, Excelsior, Ortega, Parkside, Richmond, Sunset, West Portal
FOG Readers is a new program provided by San Francisco Public Library to help struggling readers. Help an elementary school student with their reading skills through on-going tutoring sessions once a week at your local library. Tutors will be required to attend four 1.5 hour training sessions and commit to one semester of tutoring. Must be 15 years of age or older to volunteer.
