San Francisco Public Library welcomes youth volunteers who are 13-17 years old.
There are four types of volunteer opportunities offered throughout the SFPL system. Click on a type of application form and turn it in at the location of your choice.

We are excited to introduce a new volunteer program for older teens to give back to their community, learn valuable professional and workplace skills, and make their voices heard. Participants who successfully complete their group project to help improve their library and community will receive scholarship money! Going in to grade 10-12 next year.
