FOG (Free Orton-Gillingham) Readers is a program provided by San Francisco Public Library to help struggling readers in grades 1-4 with trained tutors. All tutors go through 6 hours of training and one-time fingerprinting (at no cost). SFPL will prepare you to be an effective literacy tutor as well as provide follow-up help. For ages 15 and older.

Youth Engaged in Library Leadership (YELL) is a paid internship designed for older teens, requiring a weekly commitment over the summer to work collaboratively with their local Librarians, assist with STEM content creation and develop project-based youth led events.
